Rina Han

Rina Han is the Founder and CEO of Sun Han Consulting, a boutique human capital consulting firm that works to add capacity to organizations, with a focus on equitable, inclusive processes and a positive constituent experience. After fourteen years in the education and non profit sector, she realized that there was a critical human capital need, particularly amongst small to mid-sized businesses and social impact organizations. She began her career in education as a teacher in Hawaii, before joining the national recruitment team of Teach For America. During her long tenure with Teach For America, Rina was a recruiter, teacher coach, leader of non-profit partnerships, and also led a national team specializing in policy, risk management and operations for fifty regions. At KIPP, she was the head of talent and human resources, overseeing all talent acquisition as well as codifying new human capital systems, such as compensation audits and talent pathways.

Rina understands the non-profit and social impact sector, as well as small to mid-sized business environments where critical talent vacancies or lack of strategic and operational expertise can lead to bigger organizational challenges. She finds joy and professional fulfillment in supporting various organizations with their human capital and operational needs, and seeing teams succeed. Rina currently resides in Arizona with her husband and two kids, and enjoys spending time in the beautiful outdoors with her family and rescue pittie.

The team at Sun Han Consulting is comprised of talented consultants with diverse portfolios of experience. Team members are assigned to projects based on their background and area of expertise. Clients will always work directly with Rina Han during the partnership.
